MTDS Domains & Competencies of Teaching

The six MTDS domains represent roles teachers play both within their classrooms and throughout the larger professional community. The 30 MTDS  competencies of teaching have been organized within each domain to represent the work of teaching conducted from the lens of its domain.  
  • MTDS domains and competencies remain the same across all career-levels.
