Job-embedded learning occurs during the workday and directly connects to the work of teaching.
The MTDS framework supports school-based teacher learning, however, the concept of using job-embedded strategies is expanded to include learning occurring within regional and state level cohorts. Regardless of geographical location, MTDS promotes learning directly connected to the work of teaching and emphasizes the use of experiences to provide on-going classroom-based application of knowledge and skills, reflective implementation of new learning, and access to reflective coaching/mentoring supports for teachers at all levels. |
