Understands differences between vision, mission, values, and goals and explains the role of a teacher in supporting a school district’s vision, mission, values, and goals.
Develops and uses a classroom vision that is aligned to the district/building vision, mission, values, and goals that is shared with and/or used with students.
Coaches/Mentors aspiring, preparing, and/or emerging teachers on: (a) understanding the district’s vision, mission, values, and goals; (b) developing a personal, aligned classroom vision; and (c) supporting and contributing to district planning processes.
Participates in district-level school improvement planning processes and provides training, mentoring, and/or support to students, families, and/or colleagues pertaining to district vision, mission, values, and goals.
